Tides Special Needs Ministry
TIDES is our volunteer-based ministry to help kids and students with developmental, physical, or neurological delays and/or disorders. We launched TIDES to be a welcoming place for worn-out families to come and know that their son or daughter will be welcomed and loved with open arms!

Your Kids' Safety Is A Top Priority
In Pipeline Kids, we do everything possible to create a safe and healthy environment for your kids. This includes:
Live scans and background checks for all volunteers and staff
Strict health and safety protocols to protect kids from illness
Clean, sanitized spaces designed with your kids' well-being in mind
We’re committed to protecting every kiddo — and we’d love your partnership in that mission.
How You Can Help
Please take a moment to review our health and safety guidelines before checking your kids in. One of the most important ways you can help is by keeping your child home if they’re showing signs of illness.
Young kids are especially vulnerable because their immune systems are still developing. Even a mild illness can spread quickly, putting many others at risk.
Thank you for helping us keep Pipeline Kids a safe and healthy place for everyone!
Here are our guidelines:
FEVER: Kids should be fever-free for 24 hours without medication.
VOMITING/DIARRHEA: Kids should be episode-free for 24 hours.
STREP THROAT: Kids should have started antibiotics 24 hours before attending.
NASAL DRAINAGE: Kids should not attend until clear.
SORE THROAT/COUGH: Kids should not attend with a sore throat, croup, or persistent coughing associated with a respiratory infection
PINK EYE: Attend only after 24 hours of antibiotics, no matting or drainage occurs, and the child is no longer rubbing the eye.
CHICKEN POX: Kids may not attend until all spots are scabbed over and your son or daughter is no longer scratching or touching scabs.
RASH: Kids with an unexplained or contagious rash should not attend.
LICE/OTHER INFESTATION: Kids should not attend until after treatment, and all live lice and visible nits have been removed.

Pipeline Kids has age-specific programs for the following age groups:
Nursery: Newborn-11months
Toddlers: 12 months-2 years old
Preschool: 3 years old – Kindergarten
Elementary: 1st – 5th Grade
-
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before service to allow time for check-in and to meet our team.
-
Head to our Pipeline Kids New Families Check-In area through the front double doors, where a friendly volunteer will assist you with registration and walk you to your child’s room.
-
We use a secure check-in system. You’ll receive:
A printed name tag for your child with important info (allergies, etc.)
A bag tag for kids in the Nursery, Toddler, and 2's rooms.
A parent tag with a matching security code for pickup.
-
All volunteers are live-scanned, background-checked, and trained.
Rooms are age-appropriate, clean, and secure.
Only approved adults with a matching tag can pick up your child.
-
Each age group participates in fun, age-appropriate activities like:
Worship and music
Bible stories
Crafts and games
Small group time and prayer
-
If your child needs you, we’ll text the phone number provided when checking in.
-
Absolutely! You’re welcome to stay in the room with them briefly and transition out once they’re comfortable.
-
Please let us know at check-in. We will note any allergies and do our best to accommodate your son or daughter's specific needs. We also have our TIDES sensory room available for families with kiddos with special needs. Ask for details at check-in to learn more!
-
